Home to the Los Angeles Kings practice facility, the Toyota Sports Performance Center is one of the South Bay’s most recognizable sports and ice skating destinations. Located in El Segundo near LAX, the state-of-the-art facility combines professional sports energy with a strong community atmosphere through public skating, youth hockey, figure skating, tournaments, and training programs for all ages. The center features three ice rinks, viewing areas, a café, pro shop, and year-round programming that brings together athletes, families, and fans from across Southern California. Whether visitors are watching NHL practices, learning to skate, or attending hockey events, the venue delivers a uniquely active and high-energy experience rarely found in coastal Los Angeles.
Opened in 2000, the Toyota Sports Performance Center became the official practice facility for the Los Angeles Kings and later evolved into a major hub for hockey, skating, and elite athlete training in Southern California. Over the years, the facility has also hosted professional basketball and figure skating training programs while helping grow youth hockey and ice sports throughout the South Bay.
