Nike’s spectator guide also lists Barnacles Bar & Grill at 837 Hermosa Avenue, Riviera House at 1708 South Catalina Avenue and BeachLife Riviera at 1711 South Catalina Avenue. Road Closures & Traffic Alerts

Plan ahead even if you are not attending. The official closure grid includes start/finish restrictions before race day and route closures beginning at 4 p.m. Saturday, October 24. Reopening times vary by street, segment and lane.

The supplied grid lists North Harbor Drive between North Pacific Avenue and Marina Way closed from 9 p.m. Thursday, October 22, to 6 a.m. Friday, October 23, and again from 9 p.m. Friday, October 23, to noon Sunday, October 25. North Pacific Avenue between North Harbor Drive and North Catalina Avenue is listed as closed from 11:59 p.m. Friday to 2 p.m. Sunday.

Open the full-resolution official road closure grid (PDF) for exact streets, boundaries, lanes and scheduled reopening times.

The spectator guide says vehicles must be removed from street parking along the course by noon Saturday, and vehicles cannot cross the route during closures. Follow posted restrictions and on-site instructions. Scheduled reopening times are not a guarantee that a road will be accessible at that moment.

Transportation, Parking and What to Bring

  • Rideshare and drop-off: Nike directs visitors to northbound Hermosa Avenue between Lyndon Street and 2nd Street, near Herondo Street. Allow at least 15 minutes to walk to the venue.
  • Race-day parking: There is no race-provided parking at the start or finish. Public spaces are first come, first served. The spectator guide says Veterans Park and Torrance Beach parking lots are not open to the public on race day.
  • Participant shuttles: Limited options from El Camino College, Redondo Beach K-Line Station and Harbor Gateway Transit Center require advance selection through the runner’s account. They are for registered race participants.
  • Bike valet: Nike’s full weekend guide places bike valet near Redondo Pier. Allow extra time to park your bike and walk to the event venue.
  • Public transit: Nike points local travelers toward Torrance Transit. Check current routes and event detours before departure; there is no rail stop directly at the venue.
  • Expo parking: The guide’s recommendations for the Redondo Beach Pier and North Pacific garages apply to Thursday and Friday only. They do not establish race-day parking availability.
  • Bags: Nike recommends a clear bag no larger than 13 inches wide by 16 inches high for visitors entering the Expotique, October 22–24. Non-clear or larger bags and small purses/clutches are subject to additional searches; medically necessary bags are excepted but may be screened. Runner bag check accepts only the event-branded clear bag supplied at packet pickup, with the bib’s bag tag attached.

Post-Race Celebration: Registration Required

The finish returns runners to King Harbor for music, food vendors and recovery experiences. The weekend guide lists Anastazja from 6:30–8 p.m. and Baby J from 8:10–9:40 p.m. Food and drinks are available for purchase.

This is not an unrestricted public party. Nike says guest admission is ticketed, and the supplied guide requires spectators, friends and family to preregister, subject to availability. A cheer-zone visit does not include festival admission. Check Nike for current guest-registration availability and entry requirements.
